New Enrolments
Enrolment Procedures
The Principal, Mike Brosnahan, would be happy to talk to you about enrolling your child at St Mary's. He will show you around and discuss any questions that you may have about the transition to school. Phone the school for an appointment, Ph (03) 489 7716.
As St Mary's is a state integrated school, there is a legal requirement that a preference of enrolment form is completed. This is done by simply contacting Father Jaime our Parish Priest, who will meet with you to complete this task.
The contact details for Father Jaime, phone 021 069 2478.

Enrolment Information and Enrolment Handbook for Parents.
We encourage parents to arrange a pre-enrolment visit to the school as soon as possible as this helps us to strategically plan the make up of our classes.
Please read through our new entrant information booklet
Intial Visit 9am-10:30am
On their first visit children will be given a transition to school pack which will include some fun activities that will help your child prepare for school. It will also include some useful information for parents. Your child will need to bring their drink bottle and either a piece of fruit or a small container of vegetables for our "Feed & Read" time that is around 10am.
Second Visit 9am-11am
Your child will need to bring their drink bottle, "Feed & Read" snack and also morning tea for this visit.
Third Visit 9am-1:30pm
Your child will need to bring their drink bottle, "Feed & Read" snack, morning tea and their lunch for this visit.
School visits
For New Entrants, visits to the school will be arranged prior to your child starting. You will be contacted six weeks before your child is due to begin school by our New Entrant teacher Mrs Judy Baines.
We recommend three visits but more can be arranged in consultation with our New Entrant teacher.
Let's Work Together
We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you into the St Mary's Family
